About PulsAPI: Our Mission and Story
PulsAPI was born from a simple frustration, too many status pages, not enough signal. Here's our story.
Why We Built PulsAPI
Every engineering team has the same story. It's 2 AM, the pager goes off, error rates are spiking, and the first 20 minutes are spent figuring out whether the problem is in your code or in one of the 40 cloud services your application depends on.
We built PulsAPI because we lived this story too many times. The cloud ecosystem has grown incredibly, but observability into the cloud itself hasn't kept pace. Each provider has its own status page with its own format, its own notification system, and its own quirks. There was no one shared view.
PulsAPI is that source of truth. One dashboard for every vendor status page. Real-time monitoring, SLA tracking, and smart alerts, so your team can stop tab-hopping and start shipping.
Our Mission
We believe vendor monitoring should be effortless. Engineering teams should spend their time building great products, not manually checking whether third-party dependencies are healthy.
PulsAPI's mission is to be the operational intelligence layer for modern engineering teams. We aggregate, normalize, and deliver cloud service health data so you always know the state of your stack, before your users do.
What We Offer
PulsAPI monitors 2463+ cloud services across 8 categories, providing real-time status dashboards, incident timelines, component-level granularity, 90-day SLA metrics, and smart alert routing to Slack, Discord, and email.
Our Starter plan is free forever and gives individuals up to 25 monitored services with Slack and email notifications. Our Pro plan at $29/month ($23/month billed yearly) unlocks unlimited services, SLA analytics, advanced alerts, the Integrations Hub, and team collaboration. Business plan at $99/month ($79/month billed yearly) adds PagerDuty, SSO/SAML, RBAC, audit logs, and multi-team support. Enterprise customers get dedicated account management, compliance support, and a 99.99% SLA guarantee.
PulsAPI is built to be the early warning system for engineering teams who take operational reliability seriously, from solo developers on the free Starter plan to platform teams at scale-ups and enterprises running mission-critical infrastructure.
