CDN & Edge Network Status Monitoring
A CDN incident reaches users before it reaches your logs. Your origin stays healthy, your metrics look normal, and traffic never arrives. PulsAPI monitors Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly, CloudFront, and Bunny.net against their official status pages every 60 seconds, which is usually how you find out the problem is at the edge and not in your application.

CDN & Edge monitoring FAQ
Which CDN providers does PulsAPI monitor?
PulsAPI tracks the CDN and edge networks serving production traffic, including Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly, CloudFront, Bunny.net, Gcore, imgix, and Statically. Each is polled every 60 seconds against its official status page.
How do I tell a CDN outage apart from an application bug?
Origin dashboards stay green during an edge incident because requests never reach your servers. Watching the CDN as its own monitored dependency gives you the timestamp and the vendor's own incident text, which turns a confusing traffic drop into an attributable outage.
Does PulsAPI track Cloudflare at the component level?
Yes. Cloudflare is monitored component by component, so you can see whether the incident affects the CDN, Workers, DNS, or the dashboard. Cloudflare Workers and R2 are tracked as separate services with their own status history.
