Affected Services: Market Replay Enterprise – SFTP/S3 (Delayed & End-of-Day Pipelines) Barchart will begin deploying an enhancement to the Market Replay Enterprise file structure that introduces two new fields: LastTrade, PreviousLastTrade. These fields clearly distinguish a market's last traded price from its settlement price, improving data consistency across global futures and futures options markets. Affected Pipelines: This enhancement applies to all supported futures exchanges and futures options exchanges delivered through the following Market Replay Enterprise services: Delayed / Snapshot Files, End-of-Day (EOD) Files Deployment Timeline - To ensure a smooth transition, the new file structure will be introduced in two remaining phases: September 1, 2026 - Phase 1 – Primary File Structure Update: We will update the existing Version 1 (V1) files to include the new fields. During this phase, V1 and V2 files will contain identical data structures. Both versions will continue to be published to support client migration. September 29, 2026 - Phase 2 – V2 Retirement: Publication of V2 files will end. The updated V1 file structure will become the permanent, supported format. Client Action Recommended: Clients who programmatically process Market Replay Enterprise Cloud files should review any ingestion, ETL, database loading, or validation processes that rely on fixed column positions. We recommend testing against the V2 file structure during the parallel publication period to ensure a seamless transition. Deployment will begin with the Delayed pipeline and will subsequently be applied to the End-of-Day pipeline. Propagation across all environments may take up to one additional business day following deployment. Affected Services: Market Replay API, Market Replay Enterprise Cloud (SFTP/S3), OnDemand API, cmdtyView Pro, cmdtyView Labs Barchart is updating how we organize our Commodity Statistics datasets by separating USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) data from the broader USDA dataset. Previously, AMS data was included within the USDA dataset. https://www.barchart.com/solutions/data/cstats-usda What Is Changing? USDA Commodity Statistics currently contains more than 121,000 series across several major USDA agencies, including AMS, NASS, ERS, and FAS. AMS is distinct from these datasets because it primarily consists of frequently updated commodity pricing data sourced from more than 1,000 individual market reports. Separating AMS provides a clearer dataset structure and allows Barchart to better support clients who require AMS market and price data independently from other USDA content. Client Impact: The underlying USDA and AMS data and symbols will persist. This update changes how the data is organized and entitled across Barchart services, and it should be transparent to API users. Market Replay Enterprise Cloud - Clients with automated workflows or entitlements specifically referencing the USDA dataset should review their implementation and confirm access to AMS by October 30, 2026.
