Account verification/team invite emails not workingResolved Aug 16, 2026 · 1h 53mResolved

This incident has been resolved. --- [2026-08-17T00:50:03.173Z] (monitoring) A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results. --- [2026-08-16T23:33:42.321Z] (identified) We identified an ongoing issue that prevents emails sent from the Convex dashboard (e.g. team invitations and new account verification emails) from being sent. We are currently working on a fix.

Some HTTP Actions returning 404Resolved Aug 12, 2026 · 20 minResolved

This incident is resolved. Between 00:20 and 04:15 UTC on 12 August, some HTTP Actions returned a 404 response. This affected requests that reached Convex through an intermediate proxy or CDN, because those requests carry an `X-Forwarded-Host` header. A change to our edge configuration made it read that header instead of the request's own hostname, so it looked for the wrong deployment. We reverted the change in all regions and error rates are back to their normal level. No data was lost, and requests that did not carry that header were unaffected. We are sorry for the disruption, and are improving our testing and monitoring of edge configuration changes to catch issues like this before they reach production. --- [2026-08-12T03:41:33.086Z] (identified) We're investigating reports that HTTP Actions are returning 404 responses when an `X-Forwarded-Host` header is set on the incoming request. We've identified a potential infrastructure change and are reverting it now.

Action failures for business deployments that use createFunctionHandleResolved Aug 5, 2026 · 14 minResolved

This incident has been resolved. --- [2026-08-05T01:42:55.009Z] (identified) We identified an issue that can lead to actions failing to execute when their code calls `createFunctionHandle` (https://docs.convex.dev/api/modules/server#createfunctionhandle). This issue only affects business deployments (Free, Starter and Professional users are not affected). A fix has been implemented and is currently being deployed.

Convex Status FAQ

Is Convex down right now?

PulsAPI checks Convex every 60 seconds. The verdict at the top of this page comes from the latest poll of the official Convex status feed and refreshes automatically, so you are not looking at a stale cached answer.

What should I do if Convex is not working?

Check the component list on this page first to see if your failure matches a known outage. If it does, you can report the issue for other engineers, follow the incident timeline for vendor updates, and run any fallback your app supports until Convex recovers.

How do I check Convex uptime history?

PulsAPI tracks Convex uptime over 30, 60, and 90-day rolling windows. The current 30-day uptime is 99.91%. A free PulsAPI account unlocks the full 90-day SLA history and incident timeline for Convex.

How fast does PulsAPI detect Convex outages?

PulsAPI polls the official Convex status page every 60 seconds and usually delivers alerts to Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, or email in under 4 seconds after detection. That is often faster than someone on your team notices on their own.

Does PulsAPI track individual Convex components?

Yes. PulsAPI monitors 7 individual Convex components, so you can see which service or region is affected instead of a generic "service degraded" banner.

Can I get alerts when Convex goes down?

Yes. Create a PulsAPI account and subscribe to Convex. Email alerts are included on the free Starter plan. Paid plans add Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, and webhooks whenever Convex status changes.

How do I report an issue with Convex to the community?

Click "Report an issue" at the top of this page, pick the issue type and severity, and optionally add your region and a short note. Reports are anonymous and help other engineers spot Convex problems early. Official status pages often lag real incidents by 10 to 20 minutes.

Is there a free way to monitor Convex?

Yes. PulsAPI's Starter plan includes up to 25 monitored services with Slack and email alerts, and the 30-day free trial requires no credit card. You can monitor Convex alongside up to 24 other services at pulsapi.com/signup.
