Increased response time on mobile SDK APIResolved Oct 3, 2026 · 57 minResolved

Duration: October 2, 23:46 UTC to October 3, 02:54 UTC \(3 hours 8 minutes\) Affected: SDK API, server-side API and web API in the US region. The Adapty Dashboard and the EU region were not affected. We're sorry for the disruption this caused you and your users. We know how much you rely on Adapty, and we let you down. **What happened** At 23:46 UTC, a network switch at our hosting provider's data center had a disruption lasting about one second. Because of it, one of the servers in our US profile database briefly lost connection to the rest of the cluster and then reconnected. When a server rejoins like this, the database redistributes and re-syncs data across the whole cluster to make sure every copy is up to date. While that re-sync was running, one type of lookup failed: finding a profile by customer user ID or device. The SDK relies on this lookup to create new profiles and identify users. Until the re-sync finished at 02:54 UTC, about 30% of SDK requests returned errors, and many of the rest responded more slowly than usual. During the same window, about 90% of server-side API requests failed. Errors stopped once the re-sync completed. **How it affected apps** Profile creation failed when a customer user ID was used. New users opening an app often couldn't do it. Apps that wait for profile creation before showing a paywall were affected the most. For these apps, the paywall often didn't load, so some users couldn't make a purchase. Apps that let purchases go ahead without waiting for profile creation were much less affected. Purchases went through, but some profile data, such as attribution, may be missing for users affected during the incident. **What we're doing next** The lookup that failed should never have been able to take down critical SDK requests like these. We're working on a permanent fix that removes this dependency, so the main SDK paths, including profile creation and paywalls, keep working normally even while the database is re-syncing. Once again, we're truly sorry this happened. --- [2026-10-03T16:30:21.964Z] (resolved) This incident has been resolved. --- [2026-10-03T02:11:30.481Z] (identified) We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue. --- [2026-10-03T10:46:18.081Z] (identified) We're experiencing an increased response time for the SDK API requests and are currently looking into the issue

Adapty Status FAQ

Is Adapty down right now?

The verdict at the top of this page comes from the latest poll of the official Adapty status feed and refreshes automatically, so you are not looking at a stale cached answer. PulsAPI re-checks a vendor every 60 seconds whenever it is not fully operational, or has changed status in the last 30 minutes, so an incident is always on the fastest cadence. Vendors that are stable and rarely watched are re-checked every 5 to 20 minutes instead.

What should I do if Adapty is not working?

Check the component list on this page first to see if your failure matches a known outage. If it does, you can report the issue for other engineers, follow the incident timeline for vendor updates, and run any fallback your app supports until Adapty recovers.

How do I check Adapty uptime history?

PulsAPI tracks Adapty uptime over 30, 60, and 90-day rolling windows. The current 30-day uptime is 99.87%. The 90-day uptime strip on this page is public: no account needed. A free account adds alerts whenever Adapty changes state, plus 15 days of incident detail; Pro extends that to 90 days and Business to 13 months.

How fast does PulsAPI detect Adapty outages?

PulsAPI reads the official Adapty status page. PulsAPI re-checks a vendor every 60 seconds whenever it is not fully operational, or has changed status in the last 30 minutes, so an incident is always on the fastest cadence. Vendors that are stable and rarely watched are re-checked every 5 to 20 minutes instead. Alerts reach Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, or email within seconds of detection.

Does PulsAPI track individual Adapty components?

Yes. PulsAPI monitors 4 individual Adapty components, so you can see which service or region is affected instead of a generic "service degraded" banner.

Can I get alerts when Adapty goes down?

Yes. Create a free account and subscribe to Adapty: the free plan covers three services with unlimited email alerts and no monthly notification cap. Paid plans lift the monitor limit entirely (Pro and above do not meter how many vendors you watch) and route the same alerts into Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty and webhooks.

How do I report an issue with Adapty to the community?

Click "Report an issue" at the top of this page, pick the issue type and severity, and optionally add your region and a short note. Reports are anonymous and help other engineers spot Adapty problems early. Official status pages often lag real incidents by 10 to 20 minutes.

Is there a free way to monitor Adapty?

Yes. The free plan covers 3 monitored services with unlimited email alerts, permanently, so Adapty plus two more costs nothing. Every new account also opens with a 30-day Business trial (unlimited monitors, Slack alerts, SLA reporting) with no credit card.
