Authentication Issues Affecting ODC in the Israel (Tel Aviv) RegionResolved Sep 16, 2026 · 3h 31mResolved
On September 16th, between approximately 14:05 and 18:17 UTC, users with environments in the Israel \(Tel Aviv\) region were unable to sign in to the ODC Portal and ODC Studio, and applications hosted in the region were unavailable to their end users.
The incident was caused by an infrastructure disruption at our cloud provider that affected database availability in the region. Both our identity services, which handle user sign-in, and the applications hosted in the region rely on this database layer, which is why sign-in and application access failed at the same time.
We engaged our cloud provider, who identified the cause on their side and worked to restore the affected service. Services began to recover from 17:43 UTC and were fully restored by 18:17 UTC. We monitored the platform and validated recovery with the affected customers before resolving the incident.
We are reviewing this incident together with our cloud provider to understand the disruption in more detail and to assess how the resilience of our services in this region can be improved.
We apologise for any disruption caused and thank you for your patience.
---
[2026-09-16T19:22:28.025Z] (resolved) This incident has been resolved. Our cloud provider has confirmed that the infrastructure disruption in the underlying cloud region is fully resolved, and we have verified that services in the Israel (Tel Aviv) region are operating normally, including sign-in to the ODC Portal and access to applications.
We apologise for any disruption caused and thank you for your patience.
---
[2026-09-16T18:51:39.554Z] (monitoring) Our cloud provider has resolved the infrastructure disruption in the underlying cloud region, and our services in the Israel (Tel Aviv) region have recovered. Users should now be able to sign in to the ODC Portal and access their applications.
We are monitoring the platform closely to confirm it remains stable and will provide a further update once we have confirmed full resolution.
---
[2026-09-16T16:20:28.949Z] (investigating) The issue has been traced to an infrastructure disruption in the underlying cloud region, which is affecting our services in the Israel (Tel Aviv) region. Users remain unable to sign in to the ODC Portal.
We are working closely with our cloud provider, who is actively working to mitigate the disruption. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
---
[2026-09-16T15:50:30.181Z] (investigating) We are aware of authentication issues affecting users in the Israel (Tel Aviv) region. Users are currently unable to sign in to both the ODC Portal and runtime applications in all Stages.
Our team is actively investigating and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
On September 11th, 2026, following an update to the shared login for OutSystems Personal Edition and the OutSystems Community website, a number of accounts became unable to log in or reset their password, even with the correct credentials. Only Personal Edition and Community website accounts were affected; other OutSystems ODC tenants were not impacted.
The cause was a mismatch, for a subset of accounts, between stored account email information and the identifier used during authentication, which the login flow surfaced to users as an incorrect verification code rather than pointing to the underlying account data. We published our first public update on September 14th, applied a data correction to the affected accounts in production later that day, and confirmed recovery directly with affected customers before marking the incident Resolved on September 15th.
We are putting additional safeguards in place, including monitoring for authentication and password-reset failures on this login flow and extra validation ahead of future login changes, to catch and resolve issues like this more quickly going forward. We apologise for the disruption this caused and thank you for your patience.
---
[2026-09-15T12:56:47.738Z] (resolved) The issue affecting logins with the error "wrong credentials and password resets with "incorrect verification code" on OutSystems Personal Edition and the Community website has been fully resolved. The fix has been confirmed effective for all affected accounts, and password resets are now completing successfully.
We apologise for any disruption this may have caused and thank you for your patience.
---
[2026-09-14T22:08:42.581Z] (monitoring) A fix has been applied to all accounts affected by the password reset issue on ODC Personal Edition and the Community website. We are now closely monitoring the platform to confirm that password resets are completing as expected and that all affected accounts have fully recovered. If you continue to experience issues resetting your password, please contact our Global Support team.
---
[2026-09-14T19:51:49.073Z] (identified) The fix for the issue affecting password resets on ODC Personal Edition and the Community website is now being applied to all affected accounts. This process is progressing as expected, though some users may continue to experience issues until it completes over the coming hours.
In the meantime, if you receive an "invalid verification code" error when resetting your password despite using the correct code, please contact our Global Support team to have the mitigation applied to your account.
We will provide a further update as more information becomes available.
---
[2026-09-14T13:29:15.693Z] (identified) We have identified the cause of the issue preventing some users from resetting their password on their ODC Personal Editions or the Community website.
This issue affects only a subset of emails. If you receive an "invalid verification code" error when resetting your community/ODC PE password despite using the correct verification code, please contact our Global Support for the mitigation to be applied to your account.
In the meantime, our teams are actively working on applying a global fix to all affected accounts.
We will provide an update once more details are available.
---
[2026-09-14T11:07:42.182Z] (investigating) We are currently investigating an issue where users are unable to reset their passwords. When attempting to use the password reset flow, the process fails with the error message "incorrect verification code", despite entering the correct code. This is currently preventing users from logging in if they require a password reset.
Our team is actively investigating the issue to determine the cause and will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.
The migration to the new Community unified login system has been completed. Sign-in and account operations are now available again across the Community, the Support Portal, O11 Personal Environments and the ODC Personal Edition.
All services are operating as expected. We apologise for any disruption caused and thank you for your patience.
---
[2026-09-11T15:09:29.967Z] (identified) Maintenance work on the new Community unified login system is still underway. Our team is finalizing the transition tasks to ensure a smooth migration across the Community, O11 Personal Environments, and the ODC Personal Edition. Account operations and login access remain temporarily restricted while this work completes. We apologize for the extended downtime and will provide our next update shortly.

[2026-09-11T15:06:50.916Z] (investigating) We are updating the OutSystems Community to a single, unified login system between September 8th and September 11th. This change creates one stable identity across the Community, O11 Personal Environments (PE), and ODC Personal Editions, eliminating the need to re-authenticate when navigating between platforms. Between September 8th and 11th, certain account operations—such as updating profile details, merging accounts, or requesting new PEs—will be temporarily restricted. Additionally, login access on both the Community and the Support Portal will experience a short outage on September 11th while the final switch completes.

OutSystems Status FAQ
Is OutSystems down right now?
The verdict at the top of this page comes from the latest poll of the official OutSystems status feed and refreshes automatically, so you are not looking at a stale cached answer. PulsAPI re-checks a vendor every 60 seconds whenever it is not fully operational, or has changed status in the last 30 minutes, so an incident is always on the fastest cadence. Vendors that are stable and rarely watched are re-checked every 5 to 20 minutes instead.
What should I do if OutSystems is not working?
Check the component list on this page first to see if your failure matches a known outage. If it does, you can report the issue for other engineers, follow the incident timeline for vendor updates, and run any fallback your app supports until OutSystems recovers.
How do I check OutSystems uptime history?
PulsAPI tracks OutSystems uptime over 30, 60, and 90-day rolling windows. The current 30-day uptime is 96.38%. The 90-day uptime strip on this page is public: no account needed. A free account adds alerts whenever OutSystems changes state, plus 15 days of incident detail; Pro extends that to 90 days and Business to 13 months.
How fast does PulsAPI detect OutSystems outages?
PulsAPI reads the official OutSystems status page. PulsAPI re-checks a vendor every 60 seconds whenever it is not fully operational, or has changed status in the last 30 minutes, so an incident is always on the fastest cadence. Vendors that are stable and rarely watched are re-checked every 5 to 20 minutes instead. Alerts reach Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, or email within seconds of detection.
Does PulsAPI track individual OutSystems components?
Yes. PulsAPI monitors 80 individual OutSystems components, so you can see which service or region is affected instead of a generic "service degraded" banner.
Can I get alerts when OutSystems goes down?
Yes. Create a free account and subscribe to OutSystems: the free plan covers three services with unlimited email alerts and no monthly notification cap. Paid plans lift the monitor limit entirely (Pro and above do not meter how many vendors you watch) and route the same alerts into Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty and webhooks.
How do I report an issue with OutSystems to the community?
Click "Report an issue" at the top of this page, pick the issue type and severity, and optionally add your region and a short note. Reports are anonymous and help other engineers spot OutSystems problems early. Official status pages often lag real incidents by 10 to 20 minutes.
Is there a free way to monitor OutSystems?
Yes. The free plan covers 3 monitored services with unlimited email alerts, permanently, so OutSystems plus two more costs nothing. Every new account also opens with a 30-day Business trial (unlimited monitors, Slack alerts, SLA reporting) with no credit card.
Track OutSystems with the rest of your stack
2463+ vendors in one dashboard, and an email the moment any of them changes state. Three free, and no monitor limit at all from $29/mo, unlike the alternatives, which keep charging by the monitor.
