Dashboard Overview

The central hub for monitoring all your subscribed services in real time.

Dashboard Overview

The PulsAPI dashboard is the central hub where you monitor everything your team depends on. Rather than cycling through dozens of individual status pages, you get a single, auto-updating view of every service you care about.

Boards

A board is a personalized collection of service cards. Every PulsAPI account starts with one default board — My Board — which populates as you subscribe to services from the catalog.

Boards give you a scoped view: only the services you have subscribed to appear, so there is no noise from services that are irrelevant to your stack.

Teams on the Pro and Enterprise plans can create shared boards visible to all team members. See Teams for details.

Status cards

Each service on your board is represented by a status card. A card shows at a glance:

ElementWhat it tells you
Service name & logoWhich provider you are looking at.
Current status badgeOne of six color-coded states (see below).
Sparkline chartA compact 24-hour availability trend line.
Affected componentsA count of degraded or down components, if any.

Color-coded statuses

PulsAPI normalizes every provider's status into six standard states:

StatusColorMeaning
OPERATIONALGreenEverything is working normally.
DEGRADEDYellowPerformance issues or elevated error rates.
PARTIAL_OUTAGEOrangeSome components or regions are unavailable.
MAJOR_OUTAGERedWidespread or complete service failure.
MAINTENANCEBlueScheduled maintenance in progress.
UNKNOWNGrayPulsAPI has not yet received a status update.

Live status counts

At the top of the dashboard, a summary bar displays the total number of services in each status category. This lets you answer the question "Is anything broken right now?" without scanning every card.

Automatic updates

The dashboard refreshes status data automatically — you never need to manually reload the page.

  1. Status data is polled on a short interval from every monitored provider.
  2. When a status change is detected, the affected card updates in place.
  3. The summary bar recalculates instantly.

If you want to be notified of changes even when you are away from the dashboard, configure Alerts & Notifications.
