Update your display name, timezone, and avatar in PulsAPI.
Profile Settings
Your profile controls how you appear to teammates and how PulsAPI displays time-related information.
Editing your profile
- Navigate to Settings > Profile.
- Update any of the available fields (see below).
- Click Save Changes.
Available fields
Display Name
Your display name is shown to teammates in member lists, activity logs, and notifications. You can change it at any time.
Timezone
Your timezone setting determines how timestamps are displayed throughout PulsAPI — including incident times, SLA report windows, and alert histories. Select your timezone from the dropdown menu.
Changing your timezone does not affect how data is stored — it only changes how times are displayed to you. Other team members see timestamps in their own configured timezone.
Avatar
Upload a profile picture to make it easier for teammates to identify you. PulsAPI accepts JPEG and PNG files up to 2 MB.
To update your avatar:
- Click the current avatar image (or the placeholder icon).
- Select a file from your device.
- The new avatar is applied immediately.
Your email address is displayed on the profile page for reference, but it is read-only and cannot be changed from settings. Your email is determined by the authentication method you used to create your account (email sign-up, Google OAuth, or GitHub OAuth).
