Changing a member's role

  1. Go to Team Settings > Members.
  2. Find the member whose role you want to change.
  3. Click the role dropdown next to their name.
  4. Select the new role.

The change takes effect immediately.

Only owners and admins can change member roles. An admin cannot promote someone to owner — only the current owner can transfer ownership.

Transferring ownership

The team owner can transfer ownership to another member:

  1. Go to Team Settings > Members.
  2. Click the role dropdown next to the member you want to promote.
  3. Select Owner.
  4. Confirm the transfer.

You will be downgraded to Admin automatically. A team can only have one owner at a time.

Ownership transfer cannot be undone by an admin. Make sure you are transferring to the right person.

Leaving a team

Any member can leave a team at any time:

  1. Go to Team Settings.
  2. Click Leave Team.
  3. Confirm your decision.

If you are the team owner, you must transfer ownership to another member before you can leave. If you are the only member, you must delete the team instead.
