Exporting Data

Export SLA reports as CSV or PDF for internal reviews, audits, and vendor discussions.

Exporting Data

PulsAPI lets you export your SLA report data as CSV or PDF files so you can share performance evidence with stakeholders, use it in vendor negotiations, or archive it for compliance.

Data export is a Pro plan feature. Upgrade to Pro to enable CSV and PDF exports.

Exporting as CSV

CSV exports are ideal for importing data into spreadsheets, databases, or business intelligence tools.

  1. Navigate to the SLA section from the sidebar.
  2. Select the time window you want to export (7d, 30d, or 90d).
  3. Optionally apply any filters (e.g., only breached services).
  4. Click the Export button in the top-right corner of the report table.
  5. Select CSV from the dropdown.
  6. The file downloads immediately to your default downloads folder.

The CSV file includes the following columns:

ColumnExample
Service NameAWS EC2
Current StatusOperational
Uptime %99.94
SLA Target %99.9
Latency P95 (ms)142
Downtime (min)25.9
Downtime Budget Remaining (min)17.3
SLA BreachedNo

Exporting as PDF

PDF exports produce a formatted report suitable for sharing in meetings, attaching to emails, or printing.

  1. Navigate to the SLA section from the sidebar.
  2. Select the time window you want to export (7d, 30d, or 90d).
  3. Optionally apply any filters.
  4. Click the Export button in the top-right corner.
  5. Select PDF from the dropdown.
  6. The PDF is generated and downloaded to your default downloads folder.

The PDF report includes:

  • A header with your team name, the time window, and the export date.
  • The full SLA report table with all columns.
  • A summary section showing total services tracked, number of breaches, and average uptime across all services.

Both CSV and PDF exports reflect the currently applied filters and time window. Make sure you have the correct view selected before exporting.

Tips for using exports

  • Vendor negotiations — Export a 90-day PDF report to show a vendor their actual uptime versus their published SLA when requesting credits.
  • Internal reviews — Use 30-day CSV exports to feed into your team's monthly reliability review dashboards.
  • Compliance — Archive quarterly PDF reports as evidence of third-party reliability monitoring.
  • Trend analysis — Import CSV data into a spreadsheet and chart uptime trends over multiple export periods.
